Buddha’s Relics at Orassy Centre, London, UK

The Orassy Centre is deeply humbled to be hosting the Buddha’s Relics between Nov 23rd and Nov 27th 2016. Do not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to be in the presence and essence of one of life’s most influential sages. Facilitated by Yeshe Marco from the Nyingma Kagyu lineage (non sectarian) and supported by Lama Jampa and Monk Sobhita.
This is a donation based viewing with all proceeds being donated to Yeshe Marco’s supported orphanage in Sri Lanka.

Exposition of the sacred relics of Buddha Sakyamuni in London

The relics, which will be exhibited, are preserved in Europe from the Buddha Bhavana Society of Sementina, Switzerland.
They were donated to the Swiss monk Ven. Mangala Thero by Ven. Sultanagoda Janananda Thero, abbot of the monastery of Sri Waradanaramaya Malimbada, Sri Lanka, where they were kept in the temple stupas from the eighteenth century.

As a sign of good omen, and with the hope that they can contribute to spreading the Dharma in the West, the award ceremony took place during the religious festival of Poson, the full moon day of the month of June 2016, commemorating the
arrival in Sri Lanka of the Ven. Mahinda, son of Emperor Asoka.

Sunday 27th Nov: from 11:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 19:00

On the weekend of the 26th and 27th of November, Yeshe Marco has kindly offered to make a blessing of 30 minutes to those on Lama’s weekend course only so we will do this from 10 – 10.30am. Students need to arrive at 9.45am, doors open to begin at 10am sharp as Lama Jampa begins his weekend course at 10.30am in Orassy’s studio. Early RSVP Preferred.
