Live Blood Analysis

“Blood is important because it is the primary stem cell.  What this means is your blood, even the red blood cells are embryonic cells. It is your red blood cells that become body cells, including muscle and bone.  The quality of your blood will determine the quality of your skin, liver, heart, brain, muscle, bone.” – Dr Robert Young.

Conventional blood tests are done by extracting blood from your arm and sent to a laboratory to be examined by a haematologist.  Within 30 minutes however, the blood cells die, so the haematologist only counts dead red and white blood cells, determine what number is the cholesterol level or whether the patient is anaemic, etc.

Live Blood Analysis is the qualitative analysis of living blood under an exceptionally powerful microscope and then captured on a live video feed.

During Live Blood Analysis you have the opportunity to see your immune system activity amongst many other phenomena that would be missed by conventional techniques. These observable activities include bacteria, parasites, hormonal imbalances, yeast, fungus, mycotoxins, mould sugar imbalances, sugar intolerance, allergies, uric acid and more.

Why we care about blood

Blood is a vital part of the transportation system which delivers nutrients to all parts of our body and collects waste to be removed. Thus, proper diet and lifestyle is an important part of keeping this transportation system operating at peak efficiency. Microscopy is a tool which can help determine the current health of your blood and help direct you towards dietary supplements to improve blood health where needed.

Blood Crystallisation or Oxidative Stress Test

This test is a procedure in which layers of capillary blood are pressed onto a glass slide which is left uncovered in order to allow it to dry. In the process of drying, the blood goes through a natural process of spinning as it coagulates. The unique characteristics of the sample are then reviewed and evaluated.

For example, soft white clots of protein puddles appear which are a distinctive ‘foot print’ representing inflammatory or degenerative problems.

Technical Background

Where standard laboratory blood tests are generally quantitative (how many cells are there?), Nutritional Microscopy is qualitative (what is the condition of the cells?). Standard laboratory tests are often used as pre/post studies to Nutritional Microscopy because there is correlative value in knowing both the quantity and quality of your cells.

For over 70 years, Blood Crystallization Analysis has been performed by hundreds of microscopists. The resulting accumulation of clinical research data indicates how these blood pictures relate to health challenges. In recent years, much credence has been given to this test.

The outcome is to bring the Body into Optimal Balance.

Please note: Live Cell Analysis using Dark Field Microscopy and Blood Crystallization (Oxidative Stress Test) using Bright Field Microscopy given by your health professional are for nutritional information only and should not be considered a medical diagnosis.

Know thyself

One of the key characteristics of live blood analysis is that during the entire process, your blood is analysed  live on a video screen. This process provides current and past information about your health state as it pertains to your unique “biological terrain”.

For example, stress appears in the blood sometimes years before it manifests as symptoms.

This information can assist with the analysis by:

  • Giving early warning of possible upcoming challenges
  • Showing patterns of disorganization
  • Alerting to the advisability of medical referral
  • Monitoring a challenge before and after regimes
  • Determining the effectiveness of various regimes

Among the phenomenon observed are:

  • Relative level of acidity in the body fluids and the effects these acids have on the body
  • Relative activity of the immune system
  • Condition of the red blood cells and changes in form and function
  • General organ ‘stress’
  • Presence of parasites, bacteria, yeast, fungus, and mold
  • Blood sugar imbalances
  • Malabsorption of fats, proteins, and other nutrients
  • Crystalline forms of morbid matter, acids, cholesterol, and mycotoxins
  • Degenerative stress and gastrointestinal tract dysfunction

By gathering this information we are able to build a greater knowledge of your unique health profile.
